Optometrist - Full-Time, No Fridays or Saturdays – $175,000 Base Salary – Brooklyn, NY

Join a growing, family-owned private practice seeking full-time Optometrists to provide personalized primary eye care, medical optometry, and dry eye management.

Practice Highlights & Technology

• Full-scope primary and medical optometry.
• Established dry eye services and opportunities to continue growing medical care.
• Trained technicians who perform patient workups.
• Two exam lanes, a dedicated pretesting room, and a contact lens room
• Two exams per hour, plus follow-ups and emergencies as needed. (~14-16 patients per day). 
• EMR
• Digital and manual phoropters.
• Topcon Maestro 3D OCT
• Virtual visual field 
• IPL and Sapphire Dry Eye Series

Compensation and Benefits

• $175,000 salary
• Monthly health insurance stipend.
• W-2 or 1099
• Practice closed for Jewish holidays, PTO on these day total approximately six weeks annually.

Schedule

• Full-time = 5 days per week.
• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Closed Friday and Saturday.
• Sunday coverage preferred, with flexibility to discuss frequency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams, primary eye care, and medical Optometry 
• Must be comfortable providing dry eye evaluations and treatment.
• Must be comfortable performing diabetic eye exams 
• Collaborate with technicians and optical staff to provide a positive patient experience.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular disease within the scope of New York optometric license

**All states require optometrists to be licensed. The ideal candidate must have obtained an O.D. degree from an accredited optometry school and must have completed all sections of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry exam.**
